"Zurna" by Kyle

 

My Mom and I went to Wal-Mart and Meijer to get the supplies. First I made the reed with a straw. Second my Dad and I cut and drilled the holes in the PVC pipe. I cut the yarn cone to fit the PVC pipe. Then I painted it. It took us about 2 hours to make the Zurna.

You can change the dynamics by blowing harder and softer.

You can change pitch by moving your finger on the holes.

The timbre is squeaky and loud.

The sound is produced by blowing it.
