1. Assign your students the project of making a musical instrument. They can use ideas from books or use their own ideas. Instruments can be made at home as homework.
2. Each student should give the instrument a name.
3. Each student should write a brief description of how the instrument was made and how the sound is produced.

4. Select the best 10 to 20 photos to send.
5. Take photos of the finished products. Use a regular camera or a digital camera. Use a contrasting color for the background. Try not to show students' faces. Attach photos to email as "jpeg" images. No need to rezise or edit your photos. Please label each photo with a name, such as "johnbanjo.jpeg".
6. Send descriptive essays in the body of the email, not as attachments. Please label the essays with names such as, "John's Banjo", which match the same name as the photo.
NOTE: We will use only students' first names and last initials.
