There are several bottles on the table with different amounts of water in them.
Find the bottle with the most water and the bottle with no water in it.
Use a straw to blow across the tops of the bottles.

1. Which bottle makes a sound which is high in pitch?


2. Which bottle makes a sound which is low in pitch?


3. What is vibrating when you blow across the bottle opening?


Now arrange the bottles in order, from low to high.
Put the labels by the bottles: “1” on the lowest pitch and “5” on the highest pitch.

Draw a picture of the bottles, showing the amount of water in each bottle.
