To make my musical instrument, I used a wood frame and my grandpa cut legs for my drum with a wood cutting machine. If you tap in the middle, it will sound lower, because the clear wrap is looser in the middle.  If you tap with the chopsticks on the edge, the pitch will sound high, because the clear wrap is tighter.
