I used a wrapping paper cardboard tube and decorated it with some construction paper, paint, feathers and pipe cleaners. Next, I put a vacuum cleaner tube inside the cardboard tube. I tied buckskin to one end. Then, I put a bag of different size bells inside. Then, I put buckskin on the other end to close it off. My Rain Rattle does not change pitch. To get a loud volume, I shake it hard. To get a soft volume, I turn it slowly.
