First, I started with a cardboard box.

Then, I cut a hole in the middle of the box and poked holes on the sides of the box.

Then we pushed elastic bands through the holes.

The last thing I did was I colored some paper and glued it on the cardboard and added a handle.

My instrument changes volume by how hard you pluck the elastic bands. The tighter the string, the higher the pitch and the looser the string, the lower the pitch.
