Footbells and Whistles

By Jackson and Cole

Our instrument is called Footballs and Whistles because of the materials we used to create it. It is both a percussion and a woodwind instrument. We got the idea of making it because we both like football and the sounds of the percussion family.

We used a football I had a home. Cole purchased the bells and whistles at a local store. We first used duct tape to hold them on the football, but our music teacher asked us to switch it to packaging tape so the bells and whistles could be seen.

To the play the footballs and whistles, all you have to do is play catch. When you make the catch you can blow the whistles.
