Our instrument's name is Multi Tasking. We
got the idea because Ingrid went to a science
museum in Chicago, and they had an instrument like
it. It belongs to the percussion family because we
bang objects together.
Ingrid's grandpa helped us make a wood
rectangle, and drill holes on the top. Then we took
the wire and put it through the holes. Next, we
attached different items like jar lids, the top of
a spoon, a block of wood, a door hinge, 2
seashells, and 2 measuring cups. When you pull the
wire on top, the 2 objects come together and make a
sound. We painted it and put a gloss over it.
That's how we made our instrument.
