Materials: 2 water bottles, 2 squawkers
My instrument is called a squaotle. I call it a squaotle
because I have squawker in a bottle, so it's a squaotle. The
type of bottles that I used were bottled water bottles. Each
bottle was a different size. One was pretty thin with a flat
bottom and the other was a little bigger around with five
ridges.
I went outside to test my squaotles because they're loud (if
I would have done it in the house, my cat would have gone
nuts!). Squaotle B did the best by squawking the loudest.
Squaotle A wasn't as loud, probably because bottle A wasn't
as big as bottle B.
The family my instrument would be in is an aerophone or
woodwind because you have to blow into it for it to make any
noise.
