The Plunger Gong

My percussion instrument is made from 4 tins, 2 yards of wire, a plunger, fire place poker, and paint.The tins are hung by the wire from the poker and struck by either end of the plunger to make gong-like sounds.

My chimes are made from different lengths of metal tubes, fishline , beads and a piece of wood.

My percussion instrument is made from wood, soda cans, and string.

I filled each can with different amounts of water, then struck with a spoon to produce different notes.

Shell Chimes

My chimes are part of the percussion family.

They are made out of shells, thread and ribbon. I use a knitting needle to strike them.
