THE COLORIFIC MO-MO METAL

by Javier G.

My instrument is named the Colorific Mo-Mo Metal. It belongs to the brass family because it is made with metal parts and makes metal sounds. I used recycled materials like wire, cardboard tubes, pieces of wood, metal tubes, a little motor, string and a battery.

To make my instrument I first made a cardboard box and there I put the motor with a battery with a long stick of wood in the motor attached to a piece of metal. Around the stick I put the cardboard tube and around it I added the metal tubes hanging off a piece of wire and I colored the finished instrument with gray spray paint. My father helped me holding the things and the material that I needed and holding them when I had to paste or do other things.
