FAIRY PANPIPE

by Melissa M.

The name of my instrument is Fairy Panpipe. I gave it that name because of the magical characters in children stories…fairies. My instrument belongs to the wind wood family because it works by blowing the straws.

The materials that I used to make my instruments were: straws, scissors, modeling clay, glue, ruler, tape, thread and chopsticks. The materials that I used to decorate were: glitter glue, colored feathers and beads.

I followed these steps to make my instrument: I cut the straws into different sizes, from the biggest to the smallest. Then I put clay at the end of each straw. My mom helped me put beads to decorate the straws and then I pasted the straws on the chopstick. Then I put glitter glue all over the straws to decorate them and finally I put the feathers on the chopstick and decorated them with glitter glue.
