THE SUPLES by Valentina M. My instrument is called “The Suples” because when you say it in Spanish it means “blow”; the instrument belongs to the wind family because you have to blow to make a sound. To build it I used a small box to put the instrument, a can that is beaten, some sticks, a windmill made of cardboard, small balls, and to decorate it I used some paint and newspaper. To make my instrument first I pasted the sticks to the box. Then I pasted the home-made windmill in the sticks and I fixed the small balls with short chains in the windmill, and I decorated it. The most difficult part was to make the balls turn around but my mom helped me and we solved the problem. My instrument, “The Suples”, is very easy to make it sound, you only have to blow the windmill to make it turn and the balls will beat the can.
