Materials: paper ribbons parchment paper, like one might use for baking hygenic paper glue newspaper cardboard paper with a velvety finish thick cord belt 2 wooden drumsticks Tools: compass small cutting board scissors brush Procedure: I rolled up a piece of cardboard. The teacher made a cardboard circle for me. The teacher helped me attach together the rolled cardboard and the cardboard circle, using adhesive tape. Then, on the top, I glued together three layers of parchment paper. I covered the whole drum with hygenic paper. When it was dry, I added the velvety paper of various colors. I fastened a belt to the drum. My father helped me by making two knots and attached the cord to the belt. I use two drumsticks to hit the drum. |
