Description:

it is a percussion instrument, a metal idiofono.

The Sound:

If I hit the closed end of the can it makes a weak sound. If I hit the open can it sounds more forceful.

Materials:

2 tin cans

cardboard box

a plastic tube ( for a beater )

glue

blue paper

hot glue

blue adhesive tape

Tools:

hot-glue gun

saw

Procedure:

I took 2 cans and with some hot-glue and some help from the teacher, joined them together. I covered them with blue paper using regular glue. I made some designs on the paper. I closed the open end of one of the cans with a piece of cardboard. I decorated it with blue adhesive tape. With my father I used a saw to cut a piece of plastic tubing.
