The Trumpet-Guitar

This instrument is made out of a shoebox, paper towel roll, funnel, part of a plastic bottle, rubber bands, paper and black spray paint.

It is a member of the orchestral string and brass family.

By blowing into the mouthpiece or strumming the rubber bands the sound is produced.

The pitch is changed by pursing your lips together and blowing in it or tightening the rubber bands and strumming them.

The dynamics are controlled by the force of air through it and the force of strumming the strings.
