The Two-Man Band
For our instruments we used Pvc piping, duck tape, drumsticks, a bucket, wooden pole, screws, hooks, rice, water bottle and a dog chain.
The instrument families or instruments belong to are percussion and brass.
The didgeridoo produces sound by buzzing/blowing through the white PVC piping causing the tube to vibrate.
The plastic drum produces sound by hitting the drum top with the different drumsticks, which causes it to vibrate, making the sound.
The “scraper” instrument is made with a dog chain that is attached to a drumstick. It produces sound when scraped with the drumstick.
Finally, the water bottle is filled with rice creating a maraca that when shook, produces a sound.
