by Brenna M. The Thripple was made out of metal cans, plastic lids for the cans, construction paper, beads, cloth, rubber bands, rice, and glue. I put beans in the cans. I put the the lids on a square pieces of cloth, one for each of the cans. Then I put rubber bands to hold the cloth on. After that I put the construction paper and the beads on with glue. Sound can be made by shaking the cans or by striking the cans with a mallet. If I could change my instrument I would have it make a louder sound. The Thripple was easy to make and it looks nice. |
