The name of my instrument is the Stylaphone. I used wood, 4 screws and rubber bands and brass pipe. You have to have at least 2 or 3 rubber bands on the pipe but on the wood too. One rubber band is attached to the screw. In order to make the sound the rubber bands have to be on the wood, otherwise the sound would be dull.
