Sam's Thumb Piano My instrument is an instrument much like a kalimba.  I got the idea for my instrument from science when we took a popsicle stick and slid it while it was on the edge of the table.  When the stick was farther out it made a lower sound and vice-versa. The materials I used were a block of wood, screws and popsicle sticks.  First my dad and I found a piece of wood.  Then we found some popsicle sticks.  Next we had to screw the sticks to the wood.  Last we tuned it so that it sounded right.  That's how I made my instrument.
