A Couple of Maracas by Charalambos F.   After drinking two soft drinks, I took the tins that contained them and washed them and let them dry. I took a few dried beans and put them in the first one and a little rice for the second. I closed the open holes on the upper side with tape so that the content does not come out. I painted the outside surface with oil paints giving the shapes of faces. I used some old accessories I had in order to make them more fancy, placing hats on their top so that the tape doesn’t show. When I rock them I can hear the boy (maraca with beans) and the girl (maraca with rice) talking to each other!!
