How I Made Mogo Gogo

By Emily

First, my dad got me a piece of wood that was long. Then I sewed the lid from the coffee bucket to the piece of wood. Then I painted the wood and put wrapping paper on the coffee bucket.

The way that it makes sound is that you hit it. The big one makes a deep pitch, the small one makes a high pitch, and the middle sized one makes a medium pitch.

How to change the pitch is that you put rocks in the coffee buckets so it makes a rattle sound with the buckets. How I change the volume is that you can hit hard and you can hit soft. My instrument is in the percussion family.

How I came up with the idea is that I had watched my Uncle Billy playing his drum set. I learned that you have to use your imagination. I liked this.
