How I made my instrument: I found a
box that had a cover and cut a hole into the cover of the
box. Then I wrapped rubber band around the base of the
box. Next, I made a slit on the side of the cover of
the box and put a paint stick through it. Then I
painted the box brown and the stick gold. Once the
paint dried, I put a dowel across the bottom of the box to
keep the box sturdy. Finally, I glued 3 red tooth
picks onto the paint stick. How my instrument makes a sound: I play my
instrument by plucking the rubber bands; the rubber bands
vibrate and make the sound.
