JINGLING GLOCKEN BOPPER by Jessica

How I made my instrument:

        I cut 2 holes into a narrow piece of wood and stuck 2 medium sized dowels through each hole.  Then I put cake holders over the dowels and nailed that structure onto a square piece of wood.  Next, I drilled holes into 5 pieces of pipe and tied fishing line through them.  Then I attached the other ends of the fishing line to the narrow piece of wood. Lastly, I decorated 2 round boxes and attached them to the dowels with screws.   I made the mallet by gluing a small dowel to a ball that had a hole in it.

How my instrument makes a sound:

        My instrument makes two sounds: by hitting the pipes which sounds like a chime or by striking the round boxes which sounds like a drum.
