STEEL WORLD DRUM by Elijah How I made my instrument: First, I decorated 3 different size paint cans by putting red, white and blue tape around them. Then my Dad and I drilled wholes into the 3 different paint cans. Next, I attached the paint cans together by threading screws through the holes. Then I attached a hanger by putting a larger screw through 2 of the cans and hooked the hanger onto it. I glued one long Velcro strap to the cans so I could wear the drums around my neck. For the sticks, I cut a long dowel in two, spray painted them white and decorated them with blue and red tape. How my instrument makes a sound: I hit the top of the cans with my sticks. The can vibrates and makes a sound.
