How I made my instrument:

I decorated a piece of construction paper and glued it around a large ice tea can. Then I cut 2 pieces from an old sheet and attached them to the bottom and top with string.

For the drum stick I glued a chopstick and a piece of wood together, cut a small piece from the sheet and attached it to the wood with string.

How my instrument makes a sound:

My drum produces a sound by hitting the drum on the piece of cloth with the drum stick.
