The name of my instrument is The Chimer. I got the idea for making it by searching the Internet. My instrument belongs to the percussion family. My instrument makes over thirteen different pitches.

I made my instrument by buying fifteen of copper tubing. My dad helped me with the cutting of the copper tubing. We also bought some string to hang the cut pipes, and some copper elbows to make the frame. I had to weld the frame together with my dad's help. We made a wooden stand to support the chimer.
