My Grandpa saved two coffee cans for me to use. My Aunt Tina got me two black balloons to use on the tops. Then my Grandpa and I cut the end off each balloon and stretched one balloon over each can. Grandpa and I put duct tape over the balloon edge on the can.

Then Grandma and I put felt on the bottom of each can and material around each can with spray adhesive. Grandpa and I tied the cans together with two shoe strings. The drumsticks are made out of dowel rod. I measured nine inches for each one, then Grandpa cut them off and we sanded the ends off. I painted one black and one brown.

My drums make sound when I tap them with my drumsticks. My drums change dynamics by hitting them hard and soft.
