The
Unsilent Recorder
I made my
instrument from a PVC pipe and a cork. I
drilled six holes in the PVC pipe and I
cut the mouthpiece. I sand papered it
inside and out and end to end. My dad
filed the cork with his grinding wheel so
it would fit in the recorder.
My
instrument needs to be blown and your
cheeks can't puff up.
For dynamics
you blow it soft or hard to make it loud
or soft.
You change
the pitches by putting your fingers over
the holes.
The timbre
words for my instrument are squeaky or
flat.
