First my mom took me to Home Depot to get the materials for my instrument. We got rope, a can and some tarp.

 

I started to build it the next day and it took me 2 days to build.

 

My mom helped me by making the circle for the top and bottom.

 

If you hit it it will make sound.

 

You can make it change pitch by tightening the strings or loosening them.

You can change the dynamics by hitting it harder or softer.
