First we went to Joann Fabrics and got blue, green, red and yellow paint, string, jewels and sticks. Then we went to K-Mart and got a chamois and a bucket. When we got home My Dad cut the bottom off of the bucket then I painted it all white. Then Mom and I painted pictures on it. Then we painted the drum sticks red. My parents and I pulled the shammy over the top of the bucket and I wrapped the string around the top of the bucket to hold the chamois on the bucket. Then I put some jewels on a string and tied it on the top of the bucket. The sound is produced by hitting the top of the bucket hard or soft. You change the sound by hitting the top hard or soft. If you hit it hard it will be loud. If you hit it soft it will be quiet.
