This is a Shepherd
Drum. It is blue and gold -- they are Shepherd
colors. My helper was my neighbor Bill. He gave me
spray paint and a fiberglass cylinder. I painted
it. My Mom had an old coat that I used for the top.
My Mom helped me drill holes and I put strings in
the holes for the top.
I hit it hard for
loud dynamics and soft for soft dynamics. The
tighter I have the head of my drum the higher the
pitch will be. The timbre sounds
booming.
