The Bat Guitar

by Simone B

First I found a box. Then I found a piece of wood that fit the box. Then I drew some designs. Then my dad went to his shed to carve the wood in to the designs. Then I put the piece of wood in the box. I held the wood in place while my dad hammered some tacks on the sides. Then my dad and I went to the store to buy guitar strings. When my dad and I got home I watch as my dad put the holder for the srings on. Then he gave me the strings for me to put on.

I put strings on . You have to pluck it to make the sound to come out.

To make dynamics loud you have to strum it hard or fast. To make the dynamics soft you have to strum it lightly. To make the guitar's pitch high you must play the skinnest and shortest string moving your finger along the neck of the guitar toward sound hole. To make the pitch low you must play the fattest and longest string, moving your finger along the neck of the guitar toward the end of the neck. My guitar timbre is soft, smooth and sweet.
