Flower Pot Bells By Stephanie, 5th Grade The sound is produced when you tap it with the striker. The pitch is determined by the size and thickness. The bigger it is the lower the sound, the smallest pot makes the highest sound. This is in the percussion family.	The flower pot bells were made out of 4 different flower pots, black cord, a stick, and paint. I painted the flower pots with different colored paints. My mom helped me attach the cord to the stick and flower pot. My mom and I made the striker with a paint brush stick and 3 beads and super glued to the end of the paint brush.
	I picked this because I thought it was neat and I like to hear the percussion in band. Percussion is one of my favorite groups.
