NEDL Chimes

By Nicole, 6th Grade

Nedl (ne-dlo) chimes are spoons attached to five different sizes of string which are attached to twisted metal with a motor. The different sizes of string are 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 in.
Now, on the other hand, the different sizes of spoons are 7 and 6 inches. My mom had a metal spiral she let me borrow. After that I attached a motor which helps it spin.

This instrument is a wind instrument because it spins using wind to bang the spoons together, but yet it is a percussion instrument because of the spoons bang together.

To decorate this I drew little faces on the spoons.
