M. My instrument is a drum. I made it with a strawberry
lemonade tin can and sheets of colored foam. I covered the
can with the foam. I used a hot glue gun to stick it on the
can. Before I glued it all together, I put raw beans inside
the can. The colors of foam were purple, stripes, and
orange. The drum I made makes sound two different ways. If you
hit the plastic lid, it vibrates and sound comes off it. The
other way it makes sound is from the beans. If you shake the
drum, the beans hit inside the tin can and make noise. The
tin can vibrates. The drum makes different pitches. If you drum on the
plastic lid, it makes a low pitch. If you shake the beans
inside, they make a higher pitch
