DUM DRUM   by Ali K.   My instrument is called the "Dum Drum". I got the idea for making my instrument from the Internet. My instrument belongs to the percussion family. One interesting thing about my instrument is that it can make a hard and soft sound.   To make my instrument I used the following materials: tape, rubber bands and glue. I found my materials at Staples, an office supply store.   I made my instrument with my own hands. One person who helped me with my instrument was my older brother, Asif. He helped me by building the hard parts for me. The biggest problem I had when making my instrument was the design because the construction paper was moving and not staying in place.
