XYLOPHONE by Alina K.   My instrument is called a xylophone. I got the idea for making my instrument from the hand out in class. My instrument belongs to the percussion family. One interesting thing about my instrument is it cn play the whole scale.   To make my instrument I used the following materials: pipes, wood and paint. I found my materials at home, my Dad's shop, and at the hardware store.   I made my instrument by helping my Dad build the stand and painting. My Dad cut the pipes for me. One person who helped me with my instrument was my Dad. He helped me by cutting the pipes and wood stand. The biggest problem I had when making my instrument was getting it to sound good.
