Christmas Maraca   by Caprice G.   My instrument is called the Christmas Maraca. I got my idea for making my instrument from the maracas Mrs. Williams showed the class. My instrument belongs to the percussion family. One interesting thing about my instrument is it's louder than I thought it would be.   To make my instrument I used the following materials: beads, two fruit cups, and Christmas wrapping paper. I found my materials in the cafeteria and at home.   I made my instrument by taping two fruit cups together and putting beads inside. Then I wrapped it in Christmas wrapping paper. I made my instrument by myself. The biggest problem I had when making my instrument was making the wrapping paper look neat.
