THE METALLIC PINK by Emily K.   My instrument is called The Metallic Pink. I got the idea for making for making my instrument from nails, a tube, shells and other hard items. My instrument belongs to the percussion family.   One interesting thing about my instrument is that it is a hot pink and metallic color. It also has a cool sound to my rainstick.   To make my instrument I used the following materials: a long tube, pink spray paint, metallic spray paint, nails, corn kernels, and pasta shells. I found my materials in my garage.   I made my instrument by painting the tube first and when it dried, I put the nails in the tube. After that I put shells and corn kernels in my tube. One person that helped me with my project was my Aunt Holly. She helped me by showing me how to spray paint. The biggest problem I had when making my instrument was putting nails in the tube.
