THE BOW DRUM   by Joey C.   My instrument is called The Bow Drum. I got the idea for making the instrument from a drum set. My instrument belongs to the percussion family. One interesting thing about my instrument is the sound -- it's very loud and distracting.   To make my instrument I used the following materials: a coffee can, wrapping paper, bows, and tape. I found my materials in my kitchen.   I made my instrument by putting bows and wrapping paper on it. One person that helped me was my little brother. My little brother helped me by holding the wrapping paper while I put on the tape. The biggest problem I probably had with my instrument was getting the wrapping paper on perfectly.
