Blue Bars   by Sarah R.   My instrument is called Blue Bars. I got the idea from a web site. My instrument is loud and it's fun to play.   To make my instrument I used the following materials: 10 feet of 1/2 inch electrical metallic tubing pipe, heavy duty string, a metal pipe cutter or hacksaw, measuring tape or ruler, marker, a wrench and a glue gun. I found my materials at home.   I made my instrument by cutting the tubing pipes with a pipe cutter. Then I looped the string around the pipes. Two people that helped me were my parents. They helped me by cutting the pipes. The biggest problem I had with making my instrument was twisting the string.
