THE COKEARASHA               By: Nikolas S. The name of my instrument is the Cokearasha.  I got this idea from my brother. The materials I used were a coke bottle, paintbrush, and paint. I got the materials at Wal*Mart. First, I got a round Coke bottle.  Then I painted it all white. Then I had to wait half an hour for it to dry.  I painted a red stripe all around it and in that red stripe I put a smaller green line.  In the white paint I put silver and golden dots. My instrument belongs to the percussion family. To make a sound you can shake it or you can hit it.  It can make one sound.  It makes a rattling sound, and the volume of the sound can either be really loud or it could be very soft, depending on how hard I shake it. There is only one person who helped me with my instrument and that person is my mother. She helped me buy the materials I needed.  She also helped me draw a straight line.  But, the BIGGEST problem I had was actually painting the straight line.
