KYLE'S CANS By: Kyle F. The name of my instrument is Kyle's Cans. I got the idea when I was playing a game and I saw drums so I decided to make drums. The materials I used were cans, cardboard, paint, and two paint sticks. I got all my instruments from around my house. The tools I used were hot glue and a knife. The steps I used were I got some paint and painted the cans. Then I waited until they were dry to put on a second coat of paint. Next I put on a decoration and put them on a cardboard paper. Lastly I painted the drumsticks. The family my instrument belongs to is the percussion family. The drumsticks hitting the cans and cardboard produce the sound. It can make at least 15 different sounds. The sound is a metallic sound and is very loud. My mom helped me with my instrument. She cut the cardboard and helped me find my cans. One problem is that the paint may chip off. Another is that the cans may fall off the cardboard.
