MARACANIESE By: Devin J.B. The name of my instrument is called Maracaniese.  Where I got the idea is from watching an episode of Family Guy where Brian is in a banana suit singing "Peanut-Butter-Jelly Time."  The materials I used for my Maracaniese are Dr. Pepper bottles, paint and beads.  The tools I used were a paintbrush and paint. The steps I used in the making of my Maracaniese were: 1.      getting the newspaper to write over 2.      drink the Dr. Pepper 3.      paint the bottles in gold red blue white paint 4.      let dry. 6.      To enhance my instrument I just used only paint. The family to which my Maracaniese belongs is in the Percussion Family. The sound which my Maracaniese can make is of beans in a bottle shaking. The types of sounds my instrument can make are seven different types of sounds. The way I make the sound in my bottle is by shaking the bottle or banging it together. My instrument is pretty loud. In the making of my instrument my mom helped me with the creation of my bottle. The way she helped is by helping paint buying the bottles. The hardest part in the making of my instrument was drinking the Dr. Pepper.
