My instrument is called THE JAR GUITAR. It is made out of a 10 inch pickle jar, cut rubber bands, tape and paint.

First, I took a 10 inch pickle jar from the recycling bin. Then, I took the rubber bands and cut them in half. I taped them on the jar so it looked like guitar strings.

To play The Jar Guitar, you have to pluck the rubber bands. The rubber bands will vibrate, causing a sound. Each of the rubber bands makes a different sound. The hollow inside helps make the sound.

My instrument is big and colorful. It was a fun instrument to make.
