HARAR

The name of my instrument is the Harar. My instrument belongs in the string family. I used thick wood, guitar strings, and screws to make my instrument. First, I measured wood and nailed the wood into a shape so it would look like a harp. Next, I cut guitar strings and attached it to my instrument with nails. Finally, I tightened the guitar strings so it would make a vibration. I made it all with my dad. He helped me with all the wood. I play my instrument by plucking it with a guitar pick. I found making an instrument can be really difficult to do.
