My instruments are called the "A.M.S. Flowerpot Bells."  First I picked the instrument I wanted to make.  Then my Dad and I went to Meijer for the wooden handles then we went to Wal-Mart for the flowerpots.  When I got home

I drilled a bigger hole on the bottom of the flowerpots. After that I screwed the handles on to the flowerpots.  Then I went to Wal-Mart for paint and a sponge.  When I got it I put a washer and a piece of wood inside the flowerpots.  Then I sponge painted the flowerpots and put some stickers on. 

It took me 1 day to make the flowerpot bells.

I can make sound from my instrument by shaking them.  The timbre of my instrument is loud.  I can change the dynamics by shaking them harder or softer.  I really don't know a lot of the history, but I do know it is used
for church.
