Puppy Chow Shaker

My instrument is called the Puppy Chow Shaker. After school on Tuesday, my Dad, my brother and I met my Mom at Joann Fabrics to get supplies. I painted the container myself. It took me half an hour to paint the container. I let it dry over night and then put stickers on it. Then my Mom and I strung the beads. The materials I used were a Kool-Aid container. I used Baby Pink and Pansy Lavender paint, Beads, Craft lacing and stickers.

The sound is produced by shaking the macaroni inside the container. The macaroni hits the side and makes a maraca sound. The strung beads help make the sound.

The dynamic is very loud, not soft. I can not change the pitch. I think the timbre sounds like a maraca.
