The project I made is the Prayer Drum. My Dad
helped me by drilling and sawing. I used a Folgers
container. My Dad sawed it about half way, and
drilled 2 holes on both sides. I twisted a handle
on the bottom. Two strings came from the holes. I
tied 2 mini soccer balls to the string. I decorated
it with construction paper. It took about and
hour. Sound is produced by twisting the handle and
the balls hit the drum. I you want it to be loud
you twist harder, if soft twist lightly. There
can't be pitch because you can't get a drum to go
high and low. It sounds like hitting a piece of
plastic. |
